Shadow Chronicles review (Spoiler Alert!!)

Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles was shown for the first time at MechaCon 2.0 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ain't It Cool News has published a review of the film, but it contains spoilers, so, if you want to wait until the film comes out, don't read it. If you're impaitent and want to know, then read on.

Imagine: Thanksgiving 2006

Your stomach's full of Thanksgiving dinner, including your favorite pies that you couldn't wait to eat since you got up that morning, you're watching a football game and hoping that the Dallas Cowboys (or whichever team that you're rooting for) would pull out of that damn slump since the season started, but then you got bored of hearing your uncle's neverending stories of his days as a motorcycle cop. So, you've decided to head to your room (or guest room if you're visiting) and pop in a DVD into your player. The DVD is Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles and it just came out on Nov. 21st, 2006.

That's right, folks. FUNimation will release Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles on Nov. 21st and just in time for the holiday season. The Dallas, TX-based company who shot to fame with their Dragonball Z dubs back in the 90's are going to release this 88-minute movie, and it's a perfect stocking stuffer.

So, do yourself a favor and buy Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles when it comes out. Or, and make sure you ask your uncle to tell the story of how a bumblebee got into his helmet unexpectedly. :D
